I’ll kick off the blogs with this interesting caution.

Just before Christmas a family members business, was contacted via a phone call with regards to their small shop, the caller first introduced him self as representing the local councils health and safety department, they then went on to cite the various Laws and possible fines involved for an unmaintained establishment, in an attempt to frighten the owner into using their available PAT Testing services.

After the phone call, we decided to make some investigations, only to find that the phone call originated from a Pat Testing company with no ties to any council or any other government establishment.

 If it wasn’t the fact that the shop has its portable appliances checked by out by us, the shop owner may well have been frighten into using their dubious service, so be aware, BE VERY AWARE !
